Terms of use

TrustTractor is an independent register of dealers, recording which of them have cleared our 16-point audit, published alongside customer reviews drawn from an independent review hub. A record is marked verified only where a completed audit has been recorded and a certificate issued; others are shown as pending. We are not a party to any sale, and a listing is a record of checks completed, not a broker service, a warranty, or an introduction.

Using the register means you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

A verified record states that, as of the verification date shown on the certificate, the dealer cleared all 16 checks across 4 categories described in how verification works. It is a snapshot, not a guarantee.

• It is time-bound. Verification reflects the dealer's standing on the date shown and expires twelve months later. A business can change after an audit.
• It is not an endorsement of any transaction. We do not inspect individual machines offered for sale, set prices, or take part in negotiations.
• It is not financial, legal, or mechanical advice. You remain responsible for your own due diligence before buying.

Reviews are published only when they can be tied to a genuine transaction, and they pass through moderation before appearing. By submitting a review you confirm that:

• It describes your own genuine experience with the dealer.
• It is truthful and does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or deliberately misleading statements.
• You grant TrustTractor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, format, and store the review as part of the register.

We may decline or remove reviews that fail verification, breach these terms, or appear incentivised. Dealers may post one public reply per review and cannot pay to suppress, reorder, or delete one.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the activity under your credentials and for keeping them secure. You agree not to:

• Submit false, impersonated, or automated content.
• Scrape, republish, or resell the register without written permission.
• Interfere with the site's operation or attempt to bypass moderation.

We may suspend or remove access that breaches these terms, and we may remove a dealer record when a re-audit lapses or fails.

Company contact details and reviews are supplied through an independent review hub and remain the responsibility of their sources. The TrustTractor name, layout, and audit methodology are our property. Reviews remain the work of their authors, licensed to us for display as described above.

The register is provided on an "as is" basis. While we take verification seriously, we do not warrant that every record is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for losses arising from a transaction between you and a dealer. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If you believe a verified dealer falls short of what the badge implies, report the listing and we will open an out-of-cycle re-audit.

We may update these terms as the register evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the revision date at the top of this page. Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact and support section.
